Plant of Pure Iron

“Plant of Pure Iron” OJSC is the successor of "Clean iron development and industrial plant" founded in 1968. In 1994 the factory was reorganized into “Plant of Pure Iron” Open Joint-Stock Company. The company works in the field of molybdenum concentrates processing and metal alloys production.

The main activity of the company is the production of ferromolybdenum, pure molybdenum scrap and potassium perrhenate. Since 1997, "Plant Pure Iron" OJSC is producing ferromolybdenum, as well as the pure metal molybdenum. The company's production is fully exported due to lack of molybdenum consumption in Armenia.

"Cronimet" company is the owner of control package of the plant shares. Molybdenum concentrate received from Kajaran, containing 50% of molybdenum processed in the factory and the final product - ferromolybdenum and pure metal molybdenum are sent to "Cronimet", which proceeds with the sale of the production in the main European markets.
